As a technician I am quite unusual, having been brought up with a classical music background I have a very advanced sense of hearing and so don’t always need to rely on knowledge of systems but prefer to listen and judge after using known solutions.
I have spent time on several different projects having worked for many different artists and venues, previous clients have included Bryanston Arts Centre, John Humphries, NAXOS, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Academi & Time nightclub, Bunkfest, Wimbourne Folk Festival, Swanage Folk Festival, Dorset Opera, Bangor Baroque Soloists, Bangor University
Tasks have included lighting design for operas to live gigs, lighting programming from Oscar Wilde to Purcell , board operation from JANDS to ETC , sound operation has been from 1 conference speaker to 96 channel orchestra backed bands at festivals. My specialities are particularly based in acoustic and traditional (non electric) instruments.
