Yelian He and Yasmin Rowe performed beautifully together and designed a fantastic programme showing off their serious side and their warm bubbly personalities.

The Poulenc and Mendelssohn were described as the main courses with the interweaving items as pallet cleansers. I enjoyed the imaginative programme very much. Especially the Kapustin, which was really good fun often giving the cello a very funky bluesy bass riff!

Sumptuous playing in the Mendelssohn brought images of faries and forests to the fore.
