Passione E-string started to corrode, replaced with a new passione E.
Went to see Y-Squared perform at the Wigmore Hall.

Yelian He and Yasmin Rowe performed beautifully together and designed a fantastic programme showing off their serious side and their warm bubbly personalities.
The Poulenc and Mendelssohn were described as the main courses with the interweaving items as pallet cleansers. I enjoyed the imaginative programme very much. Especially the Kapustin, which was really good fun often giving the cello a very funky bluesy bass riff!
Sumptuous playing in the Mendelssohn brought images of faries and forests to the fore.
As an encore they played poppers elephant dance, stunning speed and intonation…
